Hair loss woman

Name: Christine Z.
Cause of Hair Loss: Hair did not grow back because of follicle damage from radiation treatments.
Treatment: hair transplant
Diane is a very busy working woman. She travels often for work and
pleasure. Diane has many friends and is involved with several
activities she really enjoys. She can be found biking, walking and
enjoying new restaurants around town. Swimming at a local pool is also
a new recreation Diane has been enjoying. Diane has really been
concerned with her receding hairline and what she calls her bald spot
on her crown.
On good hair days (though few and far between) Diane is relaxed
but on those other days it seems like she could use a whole can of
spray and still she is checking the mirror all day. She knows that her
mother's hair got thinner with age and she doesn't want to wait until
any change would draw lots of attention.

Being a woman with hair loss can be devastating.
Carol had just completed her first full year on the Birth
Control Pill. In the last couple weeks, a bald spot the size of a golf
ball had formed on the back of her head. When she saw it, she was in
shock. What was happening? What could be causing this? Margaret just
finished celebrating her 57th birthday, and had recently gone through
menopause. Her hair had begun to rapidly thin in the last week or so.
Leaning forward into the mirror, her heart sank as she realized the
hair she cared so well for her whole life was thinning all over. Panic
set in...
Christine had been on antidepressants for a few months, and
also was now losing her hair. Deborah had nothing new going on in her
life whatsoever. Healthy diet, relatively stress free lifestyle, and
nothing much to complain about, except that her hair was rapidly
thinning and she had no idea why. In August, she went in for her yearly
physical, and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Carrie was
celebrating her newborn baby's 1 month birthday. Unfortunately, it was
the same day that Carrie noticed her hair was thinning extensively. She
had no idea what was wrong. This just didn't make sense.
There are many other stories we could tell of women experiencing this
incredibly devastating condition known as hair loss. It's hard enough
for a man to lose his hair, but at least it is socially acceptable. For
a woman losing her hair, the experience can be 1 thousand times more
difficult. Confusion, fear, and anxiety can set in, and the feeling of
helplessness is paramount.
Despite what you may think, as a woman, you do have options.
There are products out there that can help, and treatments your
physician can administer that will work - even for a woman. This is not
just a condition seen only in men. Nearly 40% of women by age 60
experience some form of hair loss. It's no longer about male hair loss
versus female hair loss. The cause may be very different, but the
solutions are very straightforward.
As a woman, you don't need to suffer anymore.
